Is Artificial Intelligence Really a threat to your job?
10 years or so ago, I watched the movie starring Will Smith, “I, Robot”. It was an eye opener about artificial intelligence and what future could look like!
Flashback: I was in school when I had access to first ever computer — my father’s computer that I was using in stealth when he was not at home because we kids weren’t allowed to access it for the fear of breaking something.
Both personal computers and internet were a fairly new thing in India back then in circa 2000. I learnt HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with online tutorials (a big Thanks to W3Schools.com — I’m where I am today because of you!). I still remember the tool tip animation from Microsoft that was providing help.
Then, while my father wanted me to become a doctor, I ended up becoming a Software Developer. My career path led me to adapt to new environments, and helped me accomplish several different things across technology, supply chain, transportation and logistics, among others.
